Who should I contact if I experience this scam?
Please report any unsolicited communications from anyone claiming to be NAR or using the REALTOR® trademarks to fraudulently sell you an insurance product at insurancescam@nar.realtor. As part of NAR's ongoing efforts to investigate the matter, please include in your email the phone numbers used to contact you, the method and frequency of the unsolicited communications, as well as any information pertaining to any financial harm you may have suffered. Please note that while this inbox is monitored, NAR will not send individual responses to your email.
If you are ever unsure about the legitimacy of a communication from NAR, you can contact Member Services directly at 1-800-874-6500 or via live chat or email.
Who else should I contact?
If you have been affected, we encourage you to report this scam to the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission, the Internet Crime Complaint Center, and the State Consumer Protection Offices.
What has NAR done to stop this?
The National Association of REALTORS® has taken steps to identify the entities behind the scam and to protect our members and trademarks. We continue to investigate the matter in an effort to stop this scam from continuing to be perpetrated on NAR members.
