This webinar gives a broad overview of the estate planning process, focusing on the different elements that make up a cohesive estate plan. The program describes each of the parts of an estate plan, why it is important, and the consequences of being one or more of those elements. Hypotheticals and examples cover a wide range of family and wealth circumstances and touch on important issues related to federal gift and estate tax that come into play in the estate planning process. Participants will come away with a better awareness of the importance of estate planning and develop the key background understanding to empower them to engage meaningfully in the estate planning process with their attorney.

Ariel G. Siner is a third generation attorney in Silicon Valley. Her practice focuses on trust and estate planning matters, including planning, administration, and litigation. She has a wide range of experience from basic planning for individuals to complex tax minimization efforts, dealing with business and real estate issues. She is well-versed in dispute resolution, in contested post-death matters, in court, and in mediation. Ariel is passionate about helping her clients and their families navigate the difficult process of planning for the disposition of their estates in the manner that will best benefit their unique circumstances.
